Required Skills and Experience

• Good Logic and Critical Thinking skills
• Expert Ruby on Rails – of course!
• TDD/BDD, Must know it, love it and have used it extensively!
• MVC knowledge and experience, Must know it intimately!
• Capistrano, Must know it, love it and have used it extensively!
• Subversion and Git
• Unix/Linux/FreeBSD, We deploy on these OS platforms exclusively
• MySQL, Know how to write custom SQL queries, joins, unions and action queries.
• Rubygems, Know how to install and manage Ruby gems
• Remote SSH work
• Passionate and Serious about your work
• Quality minded and Service oriented
• Self discipline, Must work hard without much intervention
• Requirements gathering, Know how to talk with clients and convert their goals into requirements
• Good communication, Must communicate with clients daily using our online project management system
• Most importantly, a desire to have fun and support our clients goals

Desired Skills

• Large scale (1 million+ users) application experience
• Comfortable with Unix/Linux shells (bash, sh, korn, csh, etc.) and scripting them
