The Team
CEO, Chief Engineer
Blackburn started CBCI in 2001 to serve GE with expert Web Development solutions. Since then he and his team have built solutions for GE, Sprint, DST, OfficeMax, Lee Jeans, Net2Phone and many others. He holds 2 patents and several corporate awards from his efforts at GE and Sprint. He is currently writing a Peepcode book on how to scale large web applications that should be published by mid July at the latest.
Senior Principal Engineer
Mr. Ungur is our own mystical code warrior. He is proficient in many programming languages but his Ruby expertise we leverage most. In addition Mr. Ungur’s search engine optimization (SEO) and vast relational database experience are invaluable to us. Programming since 1995 he is a Ruby, Rails, AJAX and Test Driven Development (TDD) master.
A seasoned professional from the ground up, he thrives on a good challenge and brings his mastery of Linux Systems Administration, (X)HTML and Web Design Concepts to our team table.
His favorite line of Ruby code is, of course, the answer to everything: ?? + ?+ - ?- == ?= ? ?* : ?.
Senior Principal Engineer
Mr. Hall, truly our Rails and Ruby Guru, thrives on achieving the “impossible”. He brings his purist philosophy, vast academic knowledge of Ruby, Rails internals, Javascript, AJAX and Test Driven Development (TDD) and meta-programing to the team table.
We frequently observe him chanting in the lotus position in front of his 3 movie-screen sized monitors.
Principal Engineer
Mr. Kropka, (The Energizer), has an extensive background in the Web Development and IT industries. His energy is never-ending as he works his way through difficult requirements. He has 3 years of Ruby on Rails development experience under his belt and meets any challenge with enthusiasm. We are glad to have him on the team.
Intern
Mr. Ogzewalla will soon graduate from the University of Kansas (KU) with a degree in Computer Science.
He is taking advantage of our internship program and has already proven to be a valuable asset to the team. We are glad to have found him.
